Archive Affective:

By collating found objects, documenting quiet moments, and replicating structures, I am exploring the process of becoming and potentiality. Often these materials are overlooked or discarded once their purpose has been served, but I want to create a space where the changes can be viewed and interacted with. By caring for the objects instead of discarding them, I am giving them the freedom to exist without any preconceived notion of a function.
I am exploring these connections and forms of existence through artist books and assemblages - where images and objects come together in both a digital and physical way. Thereby pushing the boundaries of what can be considered both a sculpture and an artwork and where the space of connection is in a continuous state of movement and becoming. The work aims to highlight the value of objects, everyday aesthetics, and the potentiality of objects through the process of iteration and playfulness.
